Each taxpayer may exclude up to $10,000 per year of qualifying retirement benefits (limited to the amount included in federal AGI): private employer pensions under IRC 401, IRAs/SEPs under 408, 457 deferred compensation, 403(a)/(b) annuities, U.S. Retirement Bonds, and lump-sum distributions under 402. Government pensions (federal Civil Service/CSRS, Oklahoma PERS, Teachers' Retirement) are also excludable, capped at $10,000. Military retirement pay is 100% exempt (tax years 2022 and later). Exclusions are reported on Schedule 511-A. No general age threshold applies to the $10,000 exclusion.
